Michelle Bakjac is an experienced Psychologist, Wellbeing Strategist, Coach, Speaker and facilitator within more than 25 years experience. In Michelle’s clinical practice, she delivers mindfulness based cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and positive psychology counselling to assist adults manage a range of  emotional, behavioural, and adjustment problems, such as anxiety, stress, depression and relationship difficulties. Michelle also has a special interest in rehabilitation injury counselling and pain management as well as post trauma counselling having worked with a wide range of individuals and organisations to provide post trauma counselling and mental health first aid. In addition, Michelle specialises in conflict resolution and mediation providing many successful resolutions to restore both personal and work place relationships.

Michelle also provides consulting to organisations on a wide range of issues around mental health and wellness as well as leadership and change management strategies. Michelle is also a Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation and provides specific skills to leaders, teams within organisations and individuals on a range of issues including building mental toughness and resilience, conflict resolution, enhancing communication and healthy relationships and managing change and challenges. Michelle is a Mental Toughness Partner in Australasia and is skilled in Mental Toughness Coaching and MTQ48 Assessments to assess individual’s mental toughness.

Michelle regularly provides workshops, seminars and webinars on a range of topics including mental toughness and resilience, positive psychology, mindfulness, mental health and wellness, mental health first aid, managing change and challenges, building leadership capability (including facilitating Certificate IV in Leadership and Management) as well as managing conflict.
